Hi I’m Bish Seymour, a Trinity rugby player for over 20 years. Nowhere could I find any details of the history of our Club so I decided to create this Blog to record our relatively short, but illustrious past. This Blog will share information, pictures & stories from the good times during the 30 years of the rugby club’s existence.
We prided ourselves that we played hard but attractive rugby, then partied hard afterwards! We were also a club that was open to all to socialise alongside in a safe environment, and that ladies were not only welcomed but played an important part of the club.
Over the years we had many great characters playing for the club, many sadly no longer with us, but they leave behind some legendary tales. Please get in touch with any feedback or to send in your own tales & experiences via the “how to Contact” page.
Well this will keep Bish occupied in lockdown

I played for TOB’s whilst still at school in the mid 60’s and really loved it and still remember the days fondly to this day. It was as a sad day when the club ended having secured it’s own ground and clubhouse

Hi Bish,
Great idea!
Brings back many memories of good rugby times, players of old and some great nights (at least the ones I can remember!). I had wondered what had happened to the club over the years – the odd web search didn’t throw any light on the issue until now – so well done.
Cheers Colin

Great to hear from your Taffy, be careful with your “odd” web searches!

Excellent piece of work Bish, I am sure like many others who remember those days I couldn’t help but have a big grin across my face reading about long forgotten matches, tours, dinner etc. So many characters graced the team and all added that little extra to whatever the event was, we all need this in our lives. Where have the years gone? ………..oh I remember work, marriage, kids, more work ……. It was an honour to have made a small contribution to Trinity Old Boys RFC, god bless you all.

Thnaks for your kind comments Steve, any old material/pictures/stories (publishable), send them on. Still think we should have a reunion before it’s too late and were even older!
